Harvey tradition lives on

The Harvey family showed up Saturday, Dec. 5, to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Paul Harvey through a stew fundraiser for Courtland Festival Park in Appomattox.

Before Paul Harvey died in October, he had already made plans to organize a Harvey family stew fundraiser for the park. The fundraiser was scheduled to take place at the Dec. 5 Experience the Holiday’s event.

For the Harvey family, their fundraising stews have always been a family affair, which began with their father. He would use his special recipe to help raise funds and support community efforts.
