American Legion Post 104 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9855 will hold their annual Memorial Day service at American Legion Post 104 on Oakleigh Avenue in Appomattox on Monday, May 29, at 11 a.m.

Post 104 Commander Pablo Moctezuma commented, “This service is to remember and recognize those heroes who made the Supreme Sacrifice – giving their ‘last full measure of devotion’ – in defense of our freedoms that too many people take for granted today.”

All patriotic citizens are invited to attend.

The keynote speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel George Sherman, U. S. Air Force (Retired).
