Red Oak Baptist Church pastor retires

After 23 years of devoted and tireless service, Rev. Thomas “Tom” Barker, Sr. and wife Ada retired from Red Oak Baptist Church.

A retirement dinner was held at the Babcock House and they were presented with an engraved mantle clock.

Taking over as new pastor is Floyd “Bud” Reid, Jr.

A reception to meet the pastor will take place Oct. 2 following the service. All are invited.
