Two-vehicle wreck on Red House Road

Tonight at approximately 7 p.m. a two-vehicle accident occurred on Red House Road at the Hunter Street intersection in Appomattox.

The Times Virginian is awaiting word from a Virginia State Police tropper currently at the scene on further details such as injuries and the cause of the accident.

Traffic was still being slowed down at the scene as of 8 p.m.

The Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department Engine 3, Appomattox County Rescue Squad, the Appomattox County Sheriff's Office also arrived at the scene.
