Ken “Dutch Henry” Wolfskill announces run for Board of Supervisors

(Note: This press release was submitted by Wolfskill for Supervisor)

Ken “Dutch Henry” Wolfskill is running as a Republican for the Board of Supervisors in the Appomattox River District, having been nominated by the Appomattox County Republican Committee.

Wolfskill made the following statements as part of his announcement:

“I believe Appomattox County is a great place to live, raise a family, and to retire. With rising inflation hurting us all, we must be laser-focused on prioritizing county spending and cutting taxes.

“I pledge to make it a priority to cut our taxes by paying off the county’s debt. We pay about three million dollars every year for debt service (nearly one million in interest). Yet, our taxes don’t decrease because we just borrow more. This cycle must stop. I will make the county’s debt a priority so we can reduce our taxes.
