A glimmer of warm weather has the library staff thinking about spring and summer! We are changing out displays, adding new craft projects to go, and planning the upcoming 2022 Summer Reading Program “Ocean of Possibilities.” We will be working with ACLA (Appomattox County Library Association) as we plan some fundraisers and a books sale, and as they support us in our efforts to support our patrons. This year we hope to provide a few socially-distanced, in-person programs. We know it has been a rough few years but want to assure our patrons that they have not been forgotten. We will continue to provide virtual, visual, to-go, and safe programming venues as we all move forward.
We are happy to announce that the library now has the 2021 1040 and 1040 – SR forms and instructions booklets. They are on the information table near the bulletin board, located on the main floor. We do not carry state tax forms. If you need other IRS forms you can find them online at: https://www.irs.gov/forms-instructions. We do have public access computers with the ability to print for 25 cents per page, per side.
The library is continuing to produce “Alphabet Adventures in Sign Language” videos. Our newest one is “P is for Pumpkin,” which you can find directly on our YouTube Channel, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLpkcXcmB30, or you can visit our Facebook page for the latest videos, updated information on closings and programs, or other general announcements @jamersonlibrary.
