Previously, I mentioned my grandfather who owned a Mobile garage and gas station. I recall his grumbling about all the new electronic “gizmos” in the newer cars. Keep in mind, this was the late 1960s, early 1970s. At the time, I did not fully understand the significance of his concerns until much later.
Many skills and professions require minimum continuing education mandates to maintain licenses and professional designations. Even without a license or a designation, continuing education is extremely important for business owners. My grandfather had to learn the automotive industries advancements in order to keep abreast of and fulfill his clients’ needs.
