Last week, I dedicated my column to a listing of holiday events, so this week I will continue that theme as I include some that did not make last week’s edition. As I become aware of additional events, I will mention them in future columns.

Congratulations to the Appomattox Raiders football team as they have advanced to the finals of Region 2C. They will play on Friday, Nov. 26, at Glenvar High School for the regional title. The game will be played at 2 p.m.

If you cannot attend the game in person, at least two local venues will be showing the game via video streamed to large screens. The Railyard Sports Lounge and the Appomattox Moose Lodge 975 will both be airing the game. Contact the respective venues for additional information.
