Appomattox Co. Militia announces raffle winners

The Appomattox County Militia, Community & Disaster Relief organization is happy to announce that the recent fundraising raffle, featuring a first prize of an acoustic “We the People” guitar, signed by rocker and pro-gun activist Ted Nugent worth over $1,000, as well as a second prize of $250, were drawn on the steps of the Old Courthouse in downtown Appomattox on Monday, Nov. 15.

Members of the AxMCDR, Tom Adams (Treasurer), and Jovita and Gary Barton (Fundraising), were on hand to witness the drawing as five-year-old Samuel Adams pulled the two winning tickets from the bucket.
