Well, Halloween is almost here, and guess what is already in stores: Christmas trees! And what better way to start the celebration than with the Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center “Winter in the Woods Camp,” scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4.
This is the perfect location for a winter wonderland. Fun activities will include: Ornament Crafting, Homemade Cookies, Winter Wonderland Hike, talent show, a Holiday Song Fest, and much more. This is a great gift opportunity for parents and grandparents, as well as a chance to attend with your 4-H’er and join in on the fun.
The cost for Winter in the Woods Camp is $80 for campers, which includes all meals, lodging and activity supplies. This camp is for ages 5-13, and the deadline to register is Nov. 19. In the spirit of giving, they will be collecting nonperishable food items for a local food bank.
