Two Raider runners finish in 1st place at Metro Invitational; Dogwood championships today

The Appomattox County High School cross country runners competed in the Metro Invitational on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Dan River.

In the middle school division, Elly Nash placed first overall in the girls 3K race in a time of 12:19.

Lucas Hunter placed first overall in the boys 3K race in a time of 11:53.

The varsity team will compete today at 2 p.m. in the Dogwood District Championship meet in Altavista.

The middle school team will also compete in their last race of the season today in Altavista.
