As The Page Turns by Jamerson Library

The dog days of summer might be over, but the library went to the dogs last week! Old Dominion SAR made their annual trip to Appomattox to teach search and rescue dogs from all over the country. They stay at the Holiday Lake 4-H Center and run the dogs all over the town with the town parking lot, behind the library, as their base of operation, while in town. This year they brought the dogs to the 11 a.m. Story & Craft Time to do a meet and greet, as we were reading to the kids in Abbitt Park.

And speaking of dogs, Spot the Book Bus, along with Bus Driver Tifani, were parked outside the library on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., so that kids could borrow a book off this barking transportation of fun and knowledge.
