During last Thursday's meeting of the Appomattox County School Board, three of the high school's state champions were honored with certificates of recognition.

The honorees included the Appomattox Raiders softball team, the Senior FFA Veterinary Science team, and Tez Booker, the boys state long jump champion.

The meeting was held in the Appomattox County High School cafeteria.
