On behalf of the Appomattox County High School golf team, I would like to thank everyone who participated and helped with the Glow Ball Tournament Fundraiser held Saturday evening (Sept. 4) at Falling River Country Club.

All proceeds helps with the golf team expenses that take place during the season.

Special thanks to Falling River Country Club, Head Professional Faber Jamerson, and Head Golf course superintendent Charles Lang for their help and assistance and allowing us to have the tournament.

We had 16 teams participate in the tournament and Team Comeau won with a 17-under-par performance.

If you did not get a chance to play this year, it is our hope you will get a team together and join us next year.
