Five varsity cheerleaders from Appomattox County High School were named to the Universal Cheerleaders Association All-American team and will join cheerleaders from across the nation to travel to Honolulu, Hawaii, to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade Dec. 4-8.

The cheerleaders are Lainey Woody, Lauren Weakley, Amyah Bolar, Jakyra Morgan and Harmony Troxler.
