The Falling River Country Club extended its dominance of the Central Virginia Hall of Fame Tournament by claiming the tournament title this weekend. The win marks the sixth time in the past seven years that the Appomattox golfers won and their eighth title overall in a 13-year period, reported team member Bobby Layne.

The two-day tournament (Aug. 7 and 8 this year) features teams from seven different country clubs playing on seven courses. Each team plays at two venues. Teams consist of 10 golfers each, and the top seven scores from each day are added to get the team total.
