Vacancies on the Robert E. Lee Soil and Water Conservation District Board are at the center of controversy for at least two board members who are crying foul against the delay on filling an Appomattox seat.
The seat fell empty due to the unforeseen death of board member Mary Lund.
Chad Barrett, a board member representing the City of Lynchburg, took to social media to express his frustration in a post dated June 25.
