Appomattox County School Division receives security equipment grant

The Appomattox County School Division received a School Security Equipment Grant worth $140,322 for use at Appomattox County High School, Appomattox Middle School, Appomattox Elementary School, and Appomattox Primary School.

On Nov. 20, the Virginia Department of Education announced $12 million in state School Security Equipment Grants to protect students, faculty and visitors in 483 schools in 98 school divisions.
