Appomattox FFA member Bruce Jones named as National Finalist

Bruce Jones, an Appomattox County High School FFA member, was recently crowned State FFA Proficiency Award winner at the Virginia FFA Convention. This summer, he received a plaque, an FFA medal, and a cash prize in recognition of his accomplishments. He was selected to represent Virginia in the national competition.

Judging took place in July, and Jones was tapped as a national finalist for the Outdoor Recreation Proficiency Award. As one of four national finalists, Jones will compete for top honors during the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
