On Sunday. May 7, Central Virginia Governor's School for Science and Technology (CVGS) in Lynchburg held its 38th annual senior recognition.

Four students from Appomattox County High School graduated from CVGS:

  • Gabe Nitti will be attending Hampden-Sydney College in the fall.
  • Morgan Doss will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall.
  • Autumn Will will be attending UVA in the fall.
  • Micah Johnson received the Larbie Mensah Memorial Scholarship Award and will be attending Boston University in the fall.
