According to CNBC, “Virginia’s biggest competitive strength is its education system, ranked No. 1 in the nation in the CNBC study.” This ranking reflects the commonwealth’s dedication to enhancing K-12 and higher education, investing in colleges and universities, including community colleges, and connecting education to the workforce through initiatives such as paid internships and work-based learning experiences.
