The Appomattox branch of Wells Fargo bank is set to reopen on Monday, Jan. 11 after closing temporarily on Jan. 5.Â
John Dunn, a spokesman for Wells Fargo from the Corporate Communications department, explained that the bank is currently closed due to an employee testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.Â
"The employee’s health is being closely monitored by their doctor and public health authorities. We wish our colleague a full and speedy recovery and will provide our full support," Dunn said.Â
Dunn said that health protocols are being followed, including a deep cleaning of the facility and keeping other employees out of the office for now.Â
