After two days of graduation ceremonies at Appomattox County High School, the Class of 2020 has officially completed their high school journey.

The day-long proceeding followed the same pattern as Wednesday, with graduating students and their parents or guardians entering the atrium wing of the school and making rounds to various stations to get necessary items and photographs. Diplomas were handed out on stage in the school auditorium.

Extended family members and friends waited on the opposite side of the atrium before joining the graduate for the diploma portion of the ceremony.

Graduates and their families arrived at scheduled times and kept distance from other families for the duration of the ceremonies due to government measures set in place to hopefully slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
