Mark Allen Almond, 49, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his home.

Born in Lynchburg, Virginia on January 12, 1971, he was the son of Robert Willis Almond and Joyce Goin Almond.

Mark is survived by his father, Robert Willis Almond of Appomattox; daughter Lauren Almond Slayton and husband, Evan; son, Haydon Almond; granddaughter Harper Slayton; brother, Phillip Edward Almond and wife, Cheri; and nephew, Trever Ryan Almond.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Goin Almond.
