Concord Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD) officially introduced a new firetruck, Squad 14, on its Facebook page Sept. 4.
The post stated that Squad 14, a white vehicle, will replace Engine 13-2, which was lost in a wreck during the past year.
“Squad 14 was originally Engine 14-2 when purchased by Cranston Heights Fire Company and replaced Engine 13-2 (then Engine 14-2),” CVFD posted. “Cranston later renamed it from Engine 14-2 to Squad 14.”
