The Appomattox Raiders golf team won its third consecutive Dogwood District meet last week with home and away victories to remain undefeated in district play.

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, the Raiders hosted the Nelson County Governors and Gretna Hawks at Falling River Country Club. Appomattox was first in team scoring at 162, followed by Nelson County at 198 and Gretna at 208.

Gavyn Simpson of Appomattox topped all individual competitors, finishing 1-under par with a score of 35.

The Raiders play at William Campbell (Hat Creek Gold Course) today at 5 p.m.
