Appomattox County Public Schools (ACSP) Superintendent Dr. Annette Bennett announced during the August school board meeting that the high school’s construction project is nearing completion.
Updating the most recent renovations and additions, Bennett said the teacher offices and art room have been completed, although the art room may receive more work in the future.
Also completed is the Future Farmers of America (FFA) trophy case.
The band room was 98% complete at the time of the meeting but shelving was due to arrive Aug. 28.
Athletic team locker rooms are nearly complete with the lockers having been installed. Bennett said they were waiting on custom cabinetry that is to be placed into separate team rooms, and that those were on back order.
