The Town Council of Pamplin City discussed a number of issues in its July 13 meeting. 

Mayor Sarah Hamlett Blackwell gave an update on USDA grants applications. She and town staff are working on the applications for planning grant funds, but the requests may need to be modified because of COVID recovery funds that can be applied to the same project. In response to questions, she explained that securing the Main Street Planning Grant “greatly increases the chances of getting a community block grant.” 

She also reported that they are researching ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Funds.
