Due to concerns about tomorrow's weather and the possibility of storms, the Jeeps & Peeps event has been delayed until Saturday, April 15, in the parking lot behind the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library in Appomattox (157 Main Street) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come meet the Jeeps and drivers of Lake Gaston Jeepers! Take a look at some really cool Jeeps, talk to Jeep owners and find out how much fun off-roading, community outreach, Jeep clubs, and all things Jeep-related can be! The drivers will be passing out rubber ducks to introduce patrons to “Duck, Duck, Jeep!”
Want to find out what “Duck, Duck, Jeep” is? Ask a Lake Gaston Jeepers’ member! The library will be there to pass out packs of those marshmallow treats that herald the arrival of spring, knows as Peeps, to the first 50 kids.
