Some celebrations and observances in November are: American Indian Heritage Month, National Family Literacy Month, National Entrepreneurship Month, Dear Santa Letter Week (7-13), National Book Awards Week (7-13), National Hunger & Homeless Awareness Week (13-21), Hanukkah (Chanukah) (Nov. 8-Dec. 6), All Saints’ Day (1), National Family Literacy Day (1), National Candy Day (4), World Chili Day (6), Veteran’s Day (11), National Peanut Butter Fudge Day (20), and of course American Thanksgiving Day (25).
For last week’s Preschool Story & Craft Time the Jamerson Library in Appomattox featured the book “Lawrence in the Fall” by Matthew Farina.
