I work with Johnny Paulette at the bus shop. Johnny and I have tried to pick a time to set a date and time to go fishing. It’s been very hard to work it out. With spring break coming up, Johnny said, “Let’s try for Wednesday of next week.” I told Johnny that sounded like a plan. We still had a week to go before we would be able to go on our spring break. I had plenty of time to get ready.
That Monday rolled around and it was too cold to work on the fishing poles outside. We had frost Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. In the afternoon it warmed up into the low 70s. I had to get my fishing poles ready. I had a few errands to run and I figured I’d get them done before I started with fixing my fishing poles.
I have two dead batteries in my boat, a trolling battery and a cranking battery. I haven’t messed with my boat since last fall when I winterized it. I hooked the truck up to the boat and pulled it out of the shed.
