Years ago back in New Jersey, my buddy Howard and I had a field picked out that we were going to take a stand that afternoon. We had been spotting this place out for a few weeks already. There is nothing illegal driving down a road and looking into the field.
We kept a little black book with us. Every time we spot deer we would write the time down, what field we saw the deer in and what time we saw them. That was our trail camera back then because they have not yet been invented.
We normally get into our stands about three hours before we know when the deer will come out into the fields. When you know in about 15 minutes the deer should been in the fields your eyes begin to focus more and the adrenaline starts flowing. We have seen deer in this field in the morning we are going to hunt when it was raining. Let’s just say we seen more deer in this field than the other ones we have written down.
