The search for a missing Appomattox County teenager is still ongoing.
Sage Lily Blair, 14, who may go by the name “Draco,” was last seen at her residence in the Concord area of Appomattox County at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25.
Appomattox County Sheriff Donald Simpson said today that his office is working with the Virginia State Police, the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service to resolve the missing person's case.
"We're just following leads, trying to get Sage home...we're doing everything we can to find her," Simpson said.
Simpson recently classified Blair to be "endangered" because of her age, the fact that she has not made any known contact with anyone, and the lack of known resources.
Blair is described as a white female with black and blue hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’4” tall and approximately 95 lbs.
She may look slightly different from the provided photo as she had recently cut her hair even shorter.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Blair is asked to contact the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office at 434-352-8241 or call 911.
