It’s no secret that internet coverage is spotty for Appomattox County residents. At the Sept. 21 Appomattox County Board of Supervisors meeting, Warren Kane, CEO of B2X Online, shared a proposal to expand broadband coverage using CARES Act money.
Now more than ever, due to the effects of COVID-19, poor internet coverage has proved an aggravating situation to students who need the internet for virtual learning and adults who rely on it for remote work.
B2X Online has already set up a system in Campbell County to provide solutions there. John Spencer invited Kane to see what could be done for Appomattox County.
