In the month of April, Many Voices One Community (MVOC) found a creative way to inspire change throughout the City of Lynchburg, the Greater Lynchburg Area, and the University of Lynchburg.

From Friday, April 14 through Saturday, April 15, the University of Lynchburg welcomed MVOC in the Memorial Ballroom Hall Campus Center. University of Lynchburg and MVOC were happy to partner with one another, so University of Lynchburg students could enjoy the 7th Race and Social Justice Conference.

“MVOC is an organization that works to advance racial justice in Central Virginia by inspiring action and social change through education, engagement, and advocacy,” said Collaborative and Holistic Academic Mentoring Peer Success (CHAMPS) Project Manager and Student at the University of Lynchburg Richard Parker Manley.
