Michelle Payne wins VPA award

Michelle Payne won third place in the feature story writing portfolio category for articles she wrote for the Times Virginian. Those articles were "Local citizens play a part in Concord rescue," "Lorena Parsons sews with one arm," and "African American banjoists honored at park’s annual banjo festival."
