COVID-19 cases rise in Appomattox County

As of today, the latest COVOD-19 report by the Virginia Department of Health shows the number of positive cases in Appomattox County has risen to 20 with no hospitalizations or deaths.

According to the latest report by the Virginia Department of Health, the number of positive COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Appomattox County has risen to 17, up from 12 last week.

The report still shows no hospitalizations or deaths associated with the virus in the county, as of today. The Times Virginian is attempting to obtain verification that no one from the county has been hospitalized at any point due to the virus.

In the Central Virginia region, Lynchburg currently has 51 reported cases, followed by Bedford County (25), Appomattox County (17), Campbell County (11) and Amherst County (9).
