Judith Haley Harris, 73, of Appomattox went to her Heavenly home on April 5, 2022. Once there she was reunited with her beloved husband Otha “Jimmy” Harris who she had desperately missed since his passing two years ago.
Judy was born November 21, 1948 to the late Bobby Haley and Matilda Haley Owen. Also preceding her in death was her stepfather Hunter Owen Jr. and son James Gregory Ayers.
Judy was a member of Appomattox Baptist Temple and was a retired teacher aide for Appomattox Co. Head Start where she was employed for 25 years and affectionally known as Me-Maw.
She is survived by two sons Otha “Jimbell” Harris and wife Kathy and Roger Harris and Tammy; two daughters, Cindy Huber and husband David and Brittany Harris and Caleb. Nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, also including two special great grandchildren Brooklynn and Tristan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
