FFA members at Appomattox County High School were privileged to have two members of the 2021-2022 Virginia State FFA Officer Team visit classes in late January.
State FFA President, Charlie Moser, and State FFA Secretary, Emma Jackson, spent the day with students. They shared an inspiring message of leadership, teamwork and communication.
Moser and Jackson used hands-on workshops to challenge ACHS students to find their potential for success and work towards enhancing their community service, leadership and personal growth.
The State FFA Officers also attended a luncheon with chapter officers to discuss FFA chapter activities across the state.
Chapter FFA officers coordinated a chapter meeting after school so that the officers could visit with the entire chapter.
After conducting chapter business, the state officers challenged the chapter to identify and capitalize on their leadership style and strengths. Members treated the state officers to a guided tour of the agriculture facilities and the Appomattox FFA Alumni Land Laboratory.
The FFA Chapter would like to thank Moser and Jackson for their visit. The FFA chapter is committed to developing students’ premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
