The J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library would like to thank Ellen Jamerson and the Jamerson Family Trust for their generous donation to the Appomattox County Library Association (ACLA).
Ellen stopped by the library on Tuesday, Dec. 14, and presented the donation to Library Director Diana Harvey. These funds will be used to replace several sets of popular juvenile non-fiction books for the library.
And the winner of the ACLA (Appomattox County Library Association) Winter Raffle is ... Ruth Parker. Congratulations Ruth! We hope that you enjoy your Christmas cactus, and basket full of warmth and cheer! Look for the next raffle from ACLA in Spring of 2022.
For last Wednesday’s (Dec. 15), Preschool Story & Craft Time, the library hosted the Robert E. Lee Soil and Water Conservation District as they read the story “Winter is Here” by Kevin Henkes and provided a snowflake ornament craft along with snacks and punch. There will be no Story & Craft Time today, Wed., Dec. 22. The next Story & Craft time will be Wednesday, Dec. 29.
