The Appomattox Raiders cross country team competed at Nelson County on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Madison Martin won the girls race in a time of 21:16, followed by Miriam Robindoph (22:16), Marissa Perry (24:33) and Bella Perry (28:35).
Clay Hamilton placed second overall in a time of 18:32 over the 5K course. He was followed by Ryan Gheen (21:43), Christian Goodman (22:30), David Owen: 24:27 and Matthew Thomas: 29:13.
The Raiders compete again this Friday in the HOKA National Postal Competition.
