At Senior Night, the final regular season home football game at Bragg Stadium, Appomattox County High School recognized senior fall activities and sports participants in band, golf, cheerleading, athletic training, and football. The senior members of the volleyball team had their senior night separately at their last home game on Oct. 27.
Raider Marching Band & Color Guard:
Megan Drinkard was escorted by her parents, Janet and Benny Drinkard, and her aunt, Beverly Thomas. Activities: NHS, FOR Club, and co-captain of the Color Guard. She plans to attend Longwood University to major in Health Sciences, followed by medical school.
Rose Clark was escorted by her parents and sister, Joanne, Matthew, and Melissa Clark. Activities: FFA, FOR Club, NHS, and State Vet Science team. She has been a member of two Grand Champion Marching Bands. Rose was part of the State Champion Vet Science team, and she placed sixth individually in the State. This achievement qualified her to compete at the National level. She plans to attend Virginia Tech to pursue a degree in Wildlife Biology in preparation for a career in wildlife rehabilitation.
