Raiders track & field compete in three meets

On Saturday, March 25, the Raiders competed in the Rod Camden Kickoff Classic at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg.

Harmony Troxler won the girls long jump for Appomattox with a distance of 15 feet, 6.754 inches. Nadiyah Abdussalaam was second at 15-04.

Troxler also finished high in the girls triple jump, in second place at 32-07.254.

Other top performances from Appomattox were by Abdussalaam, third in the girls 100-meter hurdles and fourth in the girls triple jump), Johnathan Pennix (third in the boys triple jump), Matthew Epperson (third in the boys long jump), Micah Johnson (fourth in the boys 300-meter hurdles), Sarai Glover (girls 400-meter dash) and Morgan Flamm (fourth in the girls pole vault).
