Injury-riddled Raiders back in win column

After three straight losses to Halifax, Liberty Christian Academy (LCA) and Dan River, the Appomattox Raiders girls soccer team got back into the win column Monday night with an 8-0 home victory over the Bluestone Barons.

The Raiders have been playing the last several games with a depleted lineup, missing goalie Morgan Doss, forward/defenseman Summer O’Brien and backup goalie Lily Wagurak due to concussion protocols. Lyndsey Lawson missed the LCA game with knee soreness that surfaced against Halifax.

Mackenzie Fulcher and Riley Fulcher left their regular spots on the field to share time in the goalkeeper position against Bluestone.
