Appomattox Town Council would like to continue purchasing water from the Campbell County Utilities and Service Authority (CCUSA), but it will have to make new arrangements in order to do so after the current contract expires. 

In its workshop meeting on June 29, the Appomattox Town Council discussed long-range plans for water supply. An important factor in the discussion was a letter that CCUSA had sent to Appomattox County announcing that the current contract between CCUSA and Appomattox County would not be renewed upon expiration in 2030.
