On Saturday, the Appomattox Railroad Festival’s annual “Bike Night” fundraiser was hosted at Courtland Festival Park from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring the band “Out Of Spite.”
Organized by board members of the Appomattox Railroad Festival, the annual bike night was created as a family-friendly fundraiser and an opportunity for local and surrounding biker groups to connect. The fundraiser consisted of a $10 entry fee and $5 per drink for those who wanted to add alcohol into the mix. By eight o’clock, the ticket sales were at an impressive $330.
Bike Night was bustling with moonlit activity — children playing laser tag, music lovers rocking out to the energetic 1980s classics performed by “Out Of Spite,” and families enjoying hotdogs and homemade food from food truck vendors such as Pippy’s Dog House and Bistro Brothers. The Christian Motorcyclist Association was also in attendance, passing out Bibles and other free goodies.
