Have you seen our banners announcing the “Appomattox OysterFest COMING SOON” located up and down Route 460 and side roads? Our banners provide important information regarding our upcoming event. If you haven’t already looked at our website AppomattoxOysterFest.com or called our informational hotline number, 434-998-1203, regarding ticket purchases or for more information, I recommend you do that today!

The Appomattox OysterFest is being held on Saturday, April 23, at DeVault Vineyards, 247 Station Lane, Concord, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. We will have live music by the Matthew Howard Band, Southland Band, and Rare Form.

With over 60 vendors in place to provide everything from crafts to snacks, as well as six full-service food vendors providing oysters (raw to cooked), seafood (fish and shrimp), BBQ, and more! Delicious recipes that will give everyone a pleasant choice. Breweries, wineries and mixed cocktails will be providing some liquid refreshment for those 21 years and older.

Our tickets are being sold online, through our website, AppomattoxOysterFest.com, where we have general admission, and special discounts, including group discounts.

Of course, we also have alcohol “Tasting Tickets” that entitle you to receive an OysterFest event pint glass, while supplies last, that make it easier to “taste” samplings from our alcohol vendors. You are also able to purchase glasses of alcohol as well as bottles of wine with this ticket.

So check out our event on our website and also on our Facebook page, by searching “Appomattox OysterFest.”
