On the night of April 5, 2018, Appomattox County resident Lisa Simone Henderson was brutally murdered in a wooded area of Concord at age 22, a victim of nine gunshot wounds in what Campbell County Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul McAndrews called an “execution” committed in “cold blood” with no motive given by her killer.

Henderson was slain by her boyfriend, Marquie Brandon Williams, who received a life sentence for his crime with no possibility of parole. Co-defendant Felix Jerome Jefferson III was sentenced to 40 years with 20 years suspended.

The case garnered widespread media coverage at the time — and now, nearly four year later, will be featured on the national television series “Fatal Attraction” on TV One network.
