As the Page Turns

February is Library Lover’s Month, Black History Month, Bird Feeding Month, Canned Food Month, Responsible Pet Owner’s Month, and more! Be sure to stop by your local library, the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library on Main Street in Appomattox.

The library has many ways for you to celebrate February, including special displays, Blind Date With A Book, Cupid’s Candy, Crystal Singing Bowl Concert, Family Movie Night, Retro Board Game Night, and other programs. Want to find out more about these programs? Visit our Facebook page, community calendar of events in the local newspaper, or come into the library.

We have a change for February: beginning Monday, Feb. 3, the library will open at 9:30 a.m. This time change will help us better prepare our day to serve the public. We are sorry if it will cause our early bird patrons any inconvenience.
