The Historic Appomattox Railroad Festival is one of the main cogs in our community’s tourism offering. Of course, the National Historical Park and the American Civil War Museum are static attractions and ones that “put us on the map” nationally and internationally.
The Appomattox-Buckingham State Park, the High Bridge in Farmville, and the James River State Park also are continual draws of tourists and vacationers that often find their way into our community. The Carver-Price Legacy Museum is becoming more known as an important piece of the Civil Rights movement.
